Central Florida & Orlando Schools Mental Health Programs for Kids

As we kick off a new school year in Central Florida, we want to take a moment to share how Aspire is actively supporting students and families through our in-school programming. We understand the challenges students may face, and our commitment to providing mental health and support services remains unwavering.

We are proud to offer the following school-based programs. You can click the title of each one to see the schools in which they are made available:

ALPHA:

  • A prevention program available at seven Orange County elementary schools.
  • Counselors provide counseling, academic assistance, character education lessons, mentoring, and family support.
  • Free of charge during school hours

New Horizons:

  • An evidenced-based counseling program providing full-time counseling services.
  • Services include individual, group, and family counseling, addressing communication, decision-making, coping skills, anger management, and substance use prevention.
  • The program empowers students with improved school behavior and the development of healthy coping skills.

Back on Track:

  • A partnership program with Orange County Public Schools, designed to support students who have received a Level 4 discipline infraction for substance use and/or possession of paraphernalia.
  • Students and families are offered an alternative to expulsion through participation.

At Aspire, we believe that addressing mental health needs within the school setting is essential for students’ overall well-being and academic success. Our dedicated team of counselors is ready to provide support, guidance, and resources to students and families alike this new school year.
