FORMAL BID ANNOUNCEMENT 

Removal and Replacement/Recover of the Commercial TPO Roof

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 10 am at 237 FERNWOOD BLVD, FERN PARK, FL 32730. Attendance of the Pre-Bid meeting is required.

Separate sealed bids for the Fernwood Removal and Replacement/Recover of the Commercial TPO Roof will be received at 5151 Adanson Street, Orlando, FL, 32804 until 2:00 pm on 3/15/24. At 4:00 pm, of the same day, these sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. 

As a federally funded project, Federal Labor Standards Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. This project is partially funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. All Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding process. The entire project must adhere to Davis Bacon Federal Wages and Section 3. Bidders must be State of Florida Certified or State of Florida Registered for Commercial Roofing/TPO Systems Work. 

For this Contract, payment of predetermined minimum wages applies. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage Rates applicable to this Contract are listed in Wage Rate Decision Number(s) FL20230226 01/12/2024, as modified up through ten days prior to the opening of bids. A copy of the applicable Wage Rate Table as of the advertisement date are available upon request to bid

The contractor shall ensure that employees receive the minimum wages applicable. The contractor shall review the General Decisions for all classifications necessary to complete the project. The contractor shall request additional classifications when needed.
