Agency allows people to aspire for a new life
After all the arrests and drugs and domestic abuse she’d experienced, you’d think Amy Fedoration might have a hard time choosing the single worst time of her life.
But it’s easy. Her eyes well up when she recalls giving up her newborn son up for adoption.
“That was my lowest. The drugs had cost me everything,” Fedoration said. “I was lucky to have people here who could love me until I loved myself, because I didn’t.”
She was sitting on a couch at the women’s residential center run by Aspire Health Partners, one of the agencies supported by the Orlando Sentinel Family Fund.
