Substance Use Disorder Treatment in Greater Orlando Area

January 14, 2026

This January we recognize the first ever Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month. This initiative by SAMSHA focuses on supporting those contemplating or seeking help, empowering practitioners treating SUDs, and encouraging the loved ones of those impacted to be part of the recovery journey. At Aspire, we are deeply committed to these goals. We provide a full continuum of care for individuals and families facing SUDs and we are proud to raise awareness about the critical importance of accessible, compassionate, and stigma-free treatment for substance use disorders (SUDs).

One of the greatest barriers to recovery is the stigma that surrounds SUDs and their treatment. This stigma can prevent individuals from seeking care and leave them feeling isolated. Aspire’s goal is to normalize the conversation around treatment and ensure that everyone knows help is available, recovery is possible, and treatment is effective.

Here are some of the comprehensive SUD services Aspire offers:

  • Detoxification: The first step toward recovery often begins with detoxification. Aspire’s Addictions Receiving Facility offers 24/7 medically-supervised detoxification services, providing a safe environment for individuals to manage withdrawal symptoms and prepare for the next phase of their journey.
  • Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT): Aspire’s Medication Assisted Treatment Program offers evidence-based MAT programs that combine FDA-approved medications like Vivitrol and Suboxone with counseling and therapy. MAT is a proven approach to reduce cravings, stabilize clients, and support long-term recovery. We are proud to provide MAT services across both Orange County and Seminole County, with telehealth options to make care even more accessible.
  • Residential and Outpatient Programs:

Substance Use Disorder Treatment Month serves as a reminder to:

  • Support those contemplating or seeking help.
  • Encourage health care providers to adopt best practices, including screening, intervention, and treatment.
  • Eliminate stigma surrounding SUD treatment, including medications.
