Orange County Sheriffs and Orlando PD Appreciation Day

January 3, 2026

This January, we celebrate Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. This is a special day to honor the courage, dedication, and selflessness of the men and women who protect and serve our communities. Here in Central Florida, Aspire Health Partners is proud to collaborate with law enforcement every day, as we work together to support the mental health needs of our community, especially during moments of crisis.

Our partnership extends across several critical programs, including our Central Receiving Systems, Mobile Response Teams, and other crisis-focused services. Together, we respond swiftly and compassionately to individuals in need, ensuring that the right care is delivered at the right time.

One of the most impactful ways Aspire collaborates with law enforcement is through Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). This evidence-based program equips officers with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to individuals experiencing mental health crises with empathy and expertise. Through CIT, officers receive specialized training in de-escalation techniques and learn to address the needs of vulnerable populations, such as veterans, individuals with co-occurring disorders, and youth. This partnership ensures that more people in crisis are connected to care, reducing the likelihood of arrests and increasing access to treatment.

We are deeply grateful for our local sheriffs, deputies, and police officers who dedicate themselves to making Central Florida safer, stronger, and more compassionate. Aspire is honored to stand beside them in this critical work.

Let us take a moment today to thank the law enforcement professionals in our lives and communities. Together, through collaboration and care, we are building a brighter future for everyone
