Hispanic Heritage Month Kicks Off in Central Florida, Orlando!

As we kick off Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15th – October 15th), we have a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate the deep and vibrant contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities to our society, our state, and our lives.

Florida is proud to be home to approximately 5.8 million Hispanic residents, making up nearly 30% of our population. This diverse community brings a wealth of cultures, traditions, languages, and histories that have shaped Florida into the incredible place it is today. Hispanic Heritage Month allows us to celebrate the Spanish influenced cultures from around the word. Each country or region represents a unique and beautiful thread in the fabric of our communities, contributing through art, music, food, leadership, and innovation across all sectors. We honor the resilience, strength, and heritage that continue to inspire us all.
