Program Description:
Aspire operates the Family Intensive Treatment Team (FITT) and Dependency Outpatient Treatment Team (DOTT) in partnership with the Department of Children and Families. These programs are only available to families referred directly from the Department.

FITT provides intensive, team-based, family-focused comprehensive interventions targeting high-risk families in the child welfare system due to parental substance abuse. Critical components of the team include family engagement; routine screening and assessment; individualized treatment and case plans; support of parents in treatment and recovery; joint planning and case management; wrap around; and comprehensive community services. Aspire operates FIT teams in Orange, Seminole, and Brevard Counties.

DOTT provides team-based, comprehensive interventions targeting families involved in the child welfare system due to parental substance misuse. DOTT focuses on assessment; individualized treatment; resource management and stability; recovery planning; and more. DOTT's services are completed in-home or in-community to eliminate barriers to service for our clients. Aspire operates DOTT in Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties.

Each team has separate eligibility criteria and funding options, and individuals in need will be referred by DCF to the appropriate team.

For further information regarding FITT and DOTT, please contact Program Director Emily Coppola at (407)-875-3700 ext 3377.
